Listing AIR here might feel like a bit of stretch, since it’s not completely about basketball. But the film is about one of the sport’s greatest players, Michael Jordan, his mother, and the Nike executives who signed him to what is arguably the greatest sneaker deal of all time. Directed by Ben Affleck, AIR also stars Matt Damon, Viola Davis, Chris Tucker, Jason Bateman, and some hilarious scenes with Chris Messina as Jordan’s agent, David Falk.
