Growing up in the ’90s meant you were probably a fan of
Boy Meets World. Maybe you related to funny and sweet Cory Matthews or were crushing hard on Topanga. Either way, it’s not hard to explain why the hit sitcom lasted seven seasons, from 1993 (yep, 30 years ago!) to 2000. The coming-of-age tale about a boy, well, meeting the world and learning about life, love, and friendship resonated with kids and adults alike.
And then came Girl Meets World in 2014. A majority of the original cast reprised their roles for the spinoff, delivering some much-needed nostalgia to the small screen. The reunion only lasted three seasons, but it brought back so many childhood memories. Perhaps it’s also why Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, and Will Friedle launched Pod Meets World in 2022, a rewatch podcast filled with fun (and at times, emotional and deep) behind-the-scenes insight.
